Acquisition of Conveyor Products & Solutions to help Michelin company become ‘one-stop-shop’

West Footscray, Victoria – Fenner Australia, part of Michelin Group, has agreed to acquire Conveyor Products & Solutions (CPS), a specialist in composite conveyor roller, idler and pulley manufacturing.

With the new investment, Fenner said it was strengthening its capability to provide customers with “a comprehensive end-to-end, one-stop=shop” for all their conveyor related needs.

The acquisition, said the conveyor belt manufacturer on 24 May, will leverage many synergies, providing "increased skills and product development pathways."

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Based in Welshpool Western Australia, CPS is claimed to be equipped with “ultra-modern industrial means, automation, digital and robotic production tools.”

In particular, the company will strengthen Fenner’s conveyor footprint in the Queensland pulley and idler manufacturing market.
